Damane Duckett Joins The PatriotsThe New England Patriots announced the signing of free agent offensive lineman Damane Duckett Monday. Terms of the deal were not released.
Originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Panthers on April 30, 2004, the East Carolina product has bounced around the league. He's appeared in 20 games with one start over his five-year career. New England marks Duckett's fifth team; Carolina Panthers (2004), New York Giants (2004-05) and San Francisco 49ers (2006). Duckett spent 2007 season on the 49ers' practice squad while 2008 he sat out on San Francisco's injured reserve list.
